JUST IN: 33yr old dies scooping fuel from storage tank at duty post in Ogbomoso

A security guard, 33, identified as Azeez Oladayo Olabode Tuesday reportedly died while scooping diesel from MTN mast tank at Kuye area of Ogbomoso North local government area of Oyo state.
It was gathered that the father of three likely died from suffocation while trying to steal fuel stored to power generating set for the maat at the base station located directly opposite his residence.

According to findings by ogbomosoinsightonline.com the deceased who had been working as security guard for some years at the base station was on night duty before the unfortunate incident.
It was also gathered that his colleague found him dead inside the tank when he reported for duty in the morning.
As at time of filing this report, his remains were ppyet to be evacuated from the tank.
Wife of the deceased Mrs Janet expressed shock at the incident saying she never bargained for that.
“He left for work yesterday night and we had expected he would be back this morning only to be told he was dead. It is shocking,” she said.
