The management, staff, pupils and parents of Sparkles Kiddies School gathered Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the former Ore Ofe Oluwa Baptist Church, Ogbomoso, for a colourful End-of-Session Thanksgiving and Graduation Ceremony filled with joy, cultural displays and recognition of academic excellence.

The event commenced with an opening prayer, after which two nursery pupils confidently led the audience in the rendition of the Nigerian National Anthem, setting the tone for a memorable celebration.

Parents, teachers and well-wishers expressed gratitude to God for a successful academic session and celebrated the achievements of the graduating pupils. One of the highlights of the programme was the impressive communication skills displayed by the pupils, who confidently participated in various presentations throughout the event.

In her welcome address, the proprietress of the school advised parents to make good use of the holiday period by paying close attention to the health and welfare of their children. She encouraged parents to provide nutritious meals instead of junk food, noting that healthy eating contributes significantly to children’s academic performance and overall development.

She reaffirmed that the school’s core values of Godliness, Excellence and Integrity would continue to guide its operations, stressing that Sparkles Kiddies School remains committed to raising morally upright and academically sound children.

The proprietress also announced that the school’s summer coaching programme would commence August 7, 2026, and appealed to parents for the prompt payment of school fees, describing it as essential for the effective running of the school.

A major highlight of the event was the introduction of the Sparkles Teachers’ and Parents’ Connect (STEPCO), a platform established to strengthen communication and partnership between the school and parents.

Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Babajide Abel Ojo, commended the school for its commitment to quality education and urged parents to continue partnering with the management in nurturing the children. Another remarkable feature of the programme was a news presentation and panel discussion conducted entirely by the pupils, further demonstrating the school’s commitment to developing confidence, leadership and effective communication skills among learners.

The event also witnessed the presentation of awards to outstanding pupils in different categories, including Most Punctual Pupil, Neatest Pupil, Best Dressed Pupil, Class Leader, Most Respectful Pupil, Best in Mathematics, Best in English, Best Handwriting, Best in Agricultural Science, and several other academic and behavioural excellence awards.
