NEMESIS: 2 suspected serial phone thieves apprehended in Ogbomoso (VIDEOS)

Nemesis caught up with two serial phone thieves operating in Ogbomoso Tuesday and are now cooling their heels at the the Divisional Police headquarters, Sunsun.

According to eye witnesses, the suspects were caught at Ajegunle area of the city, opposite the residence of late Prince Oyediran Alade Global.

“They came on bike. One of them went into the shop whose owner was asleep,” an eye witness informed ogbomosoinsightonline.com. “The suspect picked two phones – I-phone 13 and Redmi and went out through another door but unfortunately for him it led into a yard, so, he returned to take the door he used before by which time the owner had woken up.

“Seeing the strange figure the owner wasted no time shouting ‘thief,’ ‘thief.’ Neighbours and passersby rushed to the scene, pulled down the motorcycle and succeeded in apprehending the two of them.”

Continuing, the eyewitness said, “Shortly after, a young man arrived who claimed one phone belonging to him was earlier that morning stolen in his shop at Baptist High School area. He is an indomie seller. Also, on October 31 or so they reportedly stole a sum of ₦150, 000 (one hundred and fifty thousand naira) at Oke-Osuru area.”
