An articulated vehicle otherwise known as trailer failing to continue its acceleration uphill got pushed back and rammed into a bank’s ATM terminal.
The bank (name withheld) located beside the major trunk A road at Apake Ogbomoso suffered total destruction of the ATM section.

However, ogbomosoinsightonline.com was informed by people in the area that the incident occurred overnight and “so no customer was at the terminal making transactions at the time it happened. We only had a banging noise.”

The trailer fully loaded heading towards the northern part of the country caused the total demolition of the structure though the money section of the terminal appeared intact.

A security officer employed by the bank meanwhile declined comment asking our reporter to go to see the manager inside the bank.
It was not however clear whether the driver fell asleep or the trailer suffered mechanical fault forcing it to plunge backward.
