Beyioku, assumes duty as new Tutor – General at Ogbomoso TESCOM office

Mrs. Gbemisola Beyioku has assumed duty as Tutor-General at the Oyo State Post-Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) zonal office, Ogbomoso.
Mrs. Beyioku, one of the 45 newly appointed Permanent Secretaries by Governor Seyi Makinde, and sworn-in earlier this week, was received by the outgoing Head of Zone, Prince Subomi Adedoyin, principals, under the aegis of All Nigerian Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS), and the leadership of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), on Wednesday.
She is the first zonal head of the zone.
As zonal head, she will be responsible for staff distribution in public secondary schools and other related duties to ensure smooth and effective running of teaching and learning in the zone.

Beyioku, whose father-in-law is Pa Timothy Beyioku, a former principal and politician, taught in Ogbomoso in the past at Ori-Oke Community High School and Obada Community High School, before redeploying to Ibadan to continue her career.
The Iseyin-born educationist takes over from Prince Subomi Adedoyin, who it is learnt is going on voluntary retirement.
Adedoyin assumed duty as Head of Zone (HOZ) in April 2024 sequel to the retirement of the former Tutor – General, Mr. Tunde Suulola.

Beyioku is expected to build on the sterling legacies of her predecessors like Chief Sola Ayangbayi, Deacon Timothy Ajamu, Prince Olalere Ajiboye, Chief Michael Abioye, Chief Moses Ogunniyi, Mr. Olatunde Suulola, Subomi Adedoyin among others.
