Alaaje of Aaje Ologo, Ogbomoso North local government, HRH Reuben Adesina Amao JP, dss (rtd), fsi, has rejoiced with Nigerians on the occasion of the New Year 2025 day celebration.

 

The traditional ruler in a New Year message made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com states, “l rejoice with Nigerians on the occasion of the celebration of a new year 2025. It is great grace we have received, l pray earnestly God’s grace will abide with us individually and collectively throughout the year.”

 

He notes 2024 was a year fraught with excruciating challenges but “thank God we survived it. As we step into another year, may God grant us the grace, strength, wherewithal and all we need to navigate the Year 2025 successfully.”

 

“I congratulate Nigerians, l most rejoice with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his family and Ministers, and with Governor Seyi Makinde, his family and Commissioners and other government functionaries.

“I am also rejoicing with His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III (the Soun of Ogbomosoland), the royal family, chiefs and all traditional rulers in Ogbomoso and Oyo state at large.

 

“And l congratulate my people at Aaje Ologo, thank you for your support. You are the pivot that guarantees my movement. I admire you.”

 

Alaaje therefore charges Nigerians to remain “steadfast, believe and be hopeful,” assuring of a “better, prosperous country. Let’s trust in our leaders, be hardworking, dedicated and be devoted to productive and profitable ventures,” adding, “Let’s remember the vulnerable class especially the orphans and widows in the new year, let’s put them in our plans to assist them. Let’s give them hope. We don’t want them to be beggars and societal nuisance. Happy New Year. May God keep us safe this 2025. Congratulations.”

He also specially congratulates chairman of Ogbomoso North local government Hon George Ogunlade saying he is “doing a yeoman’s job reinventing Ogbomoso North council area. More power to his elbow. We wish him success as we urge him to make us further feel his impact at Aaje.”
