Booda Sunday Adeyemi (BSA) has awarded three ex-students of Emmanuel Agboola Baptist Secondary Grammar School (EABSGS), JK Atanda Layout, Ogbomoso, Oyo state, scholarships to undergo digital technology training.

The three students bagged the scholarships based on their performances in the 2026 SS 3 Mock Examinations.

BSA earlier during the 2026 Valedictory Service of the school held last week, announced the promise of the award and yesterday, Friday, paid another visit to the school to engage the school management and the beneficiaries.

According to the philanthropist, the three students have the option of receiving training in software engineering, auto cad, data science and data analysis, with the programme to come up at Cephas ICT Hub, Yoaco area.

“It is an opportunity BSA Foundation is offering you; I implore you to take it seriously,” Adeyemo said. “The training is worth three hundred thousand naira (N300, 000) per individual, so, show commitment. It can be a saving grace for you in the nearest future. As an undergraduate, you can utilize the knowledge you gained to assist your education. Let me tell you, it is better to seek knowledge than money, because people on account of their ignorance are bound to pay for knowledge, so, now, it is better to acquire knowledge.”

The principal of the school, Mr. Olufemi Ogunlana, expressed gratitude to the politician and urged the beneficiaries to avail themselves well of the opportunity.

In another development, BSA has dumped the African Democratic Congress (ADC), whose ticket he earlier picked to contest the House of Assembly election into the Oyo State House of Assembly to represent Ogbomoso South State Constituency. Due to political shenanigans within ADC, he left the party and he is now the candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).

Dr. Kunle Adegbite, founder and chairman of Twindad Foundation, is the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives for Ogbomoso North/Ogbomoso South/Oriire federal constituency.
