The Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III has announced the dissolution of executive committee of the Egbe Omo Ogbomoso Parapo Agbaaye with immediate effect.

In a press conference Friday at the palace to announce the burial programme the monarch made the disclosure saying the social-cultural organisation would now be run by a caretaker committee to be headed by Prof Olusegun Ajiboye former Executive Secretary of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria TRCN.

Rear Admiral Jacob Ajani (retd) will serve as secretary.
The Oba said the move became imperative in order to reposition the association to align with the 25 year-development plan he unveiled.
The caretaker committee he said would have two years to work and come up with an agenda for forward march.

He informed the eight persons chosen who are eight in number are people carefully chosen because of “their integrity.”
He mourned the passage of the former president of the organisation Rt. Hon. Afolabi Adeniran rtd.
