BREAKING: Ogbomoso Parapo bus reportedly involved in ghastly accident

A 18-seater bus belonging to Egbe Omo Ogbomoso Parapo Agbaaye has reportedly been involved in a crash.

The accident was said to have occurred last week while some exco members of the socio-cultural organisation were returning from Ibadan in the bus.

According to reports reaching ogbomosoinsightonline.com, the bus somersaulted four times due to burst rear tyre before it crash-landed as they approached Oyo town leaving a number of the occupants seriously injured. “Only one person was slightly injured, others seriously,” a source informed “but thank God no casualty.”

However, when contacted, a top official of the association (name withheld), debunked the report saying it was not true. “Where did you hear such story?” He queried. “No, it’s not true!” He declared matter of fact.

Further investigations among some other exco members meanwhile confirmed it was true. “I visited one of the victims who had her hand in cast,” another national exco member stated.

Recall the bus was donated to the association during the last AGM on December 26, 2024, by an Ogbomoso indigene based in USA, Dr Kunle Adegbite, founder and chairman of Twindad Orphanage Home.

Meanwhile, the organisation has been embroiled in crisis in recent times with the home branch particularly splitting into two factions. This is as the President, worldwide, Justice Afolabi Adeniran rtd, recently passed away.
