What a shock, to have lost a loving sister that was the heart of the family. She was a true mother to her children, faithful to her husband, loving to the family and to all and sundry. She led a devout life as a practising Moslem and socialite. She was diligent at work but sadly she gave up the ghost in the early hours of Wednesday July 16, 2025. As at the time of her death she was a vice principal at Ogbomoso Grammar School.

Like Williams Shakespeare put it at the burial of Julius Caesar, “I don’t come here to bury Caesar, but to praise him.” Similarly, “I don’t come here to bury my sister, Late Alhaja Ramat Sodiq, Nee Adewuyi, but to praise her.”

May Allah grant her Aljana Fidaus as she was buried in Islamic way on 16th July, 2025. Special prayer is slated to be offered for her on 18th July, 2025 by the Ansarudden Society Islamic Organisation, Ogbomoso branch, at her house by 9am. She is survived by husband, Alhaji Sodiq Mutiu, loving children and family, of which my humble self, Alhaji Fatai Adewuyi, Olla Balm, is one.

May her soul rest in peace and be rewarded with Alijana Firduas. Amina
