APC stalwart calls for removal of Adelabu, 2 others over poor performance

Hon Cletus Obun, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called for the removal of three ministers in the Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s government as part of the rejigging exercise the administration needs to undertake as it prepares to mark one year in office.

Hon Obun made this assertion while featuring on AIT Good Morning Show Monday morning, monitored by ogbomosoinsightonline.com.

He noted that as part of the restructuring exercise of the government, there is need to replace some ministers, and probed to cite examples of those in his opinion who should not make it beyond 2024 he unequivocally mentioned Power and Steel Minister, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

He backed his position by saying the Accord Party governorship candidate in Oyo state during the 2023 general elections lacked public communication skills just as he said his “call for arbitrary hike in tariff of electricity is inhuman.

“That shows he is anti-people, anti-democratic and is fully against the well-being of the masses and good governance.”

The APC chieftain further said that Mr. Wike Nyesom, Honorable Minister for Federal Capital Territory, has equally performed below expectation in handling of Federal Capital Territory administration just as he chided John Enoh, Minister of Youths and Sports Development for not performing at all.

Obun equally gave kudos to President Tinubu’s students loan scheme asserting it is the right step in positive direction.
