Soun, Saraki to light up Adebo Ogundoyin S/W students’ legislative summit at UI

The Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III, will grace the maiden Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin Southwest Students’ Legislative Summit at the University of Ibadan, as royal father of honour on Wednesday.

The event organized by the Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly Hon Adebo Ogundoyin in conjunction with the Students’ Representatives Council of the University of Ibadan Students’ Union and slated for 9am at the International Conference Centre of the university will have former Senate President and former Kwara state governor, Dr Bukola Saraki, as keynote speaker, who will dwell on the theme, “Roles of quality legislation in nation building.”

Students of tertiary institutions across the Southwest of Nigeria, according to a statement signed by Oluwabukola Adeyeye, secretary, planning committee and Rt. Hon Dr. Abdulwasi Musah, chairman of the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission and obtained by ogbomosoinsightonline.com, are to grace the programme, designed “to bolster the national politics and encourage ground-breaking ideas across age groups.”
