Twindad honoured coaches association

Dr Kunle Samson Adegbite, CEO of Twindad Orphanage Home, has been conferred with the Award of Sports Development.
The award bestowed by the Nigeria Football Coaches Association Ogbomoso Zonal Council, is in recognition of his contribution to sports development in the zone.

The honour according to the association is in “recognition and appreciation of the contribution you have made towards the development of grassroots football in Ogbomoso.”

ogbomosoinsightonline.com recalls that Dr Adegbite in 2023 staged the first edition of a broad based football competition tagged “Twindad Cup,” which attracted fabulous prizes for the best four teams and individual performers – in manners unprecedented in this clime.

The US – based philanthropist, who complemented the football fiesta with traditional indoor games tourney was further commended in a comment by the secretary of the association Adetunji Stephen for this “relentless effort to give grassroots footballers and youth in Ogbomoso the best of opportunity through sports.”
Responding through his friend Oluwaeun Olalere who received the award plaque on his behalf on Sunday at Soun High School playground, lauded the association for its efforts in promoting youth through football and urged them to maintain the tempo.
Adegbite assured he would continue to support football development as well through Twindad Cup and other means.
In a chat he said assisting the young ones to realize their potential in football and help nurture it is his passion while expressing appreciation to the coaches association.
