Ogbomoso: School pens emotional statement to BSA Foundation over 300 free JAMB forms

The management of Laogun Adeoye Memorial High School (LAMHS), Ogbomoso, Oyo state, has issued a thank-you statement in favour of Booda Sunday Adeyemo (BSA) Foundation over its payment of JAMB forms fees of 300 students.

In the statement signed by the principal, Mrs. Racheal Olufunmike Ojediran, and made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com it’s noted that the gesture is greatly appreciated praying its CEO Hon Sunday Adeyemo would continue to be relevant.
The school enthuses 15 of its students were among the 300 beneficiaries disclosing that but for the assistance not all of them would have had the opportunity of writing UTME this year.

The statement reads in part, “We want to seize this opportunity to express our profound appreciation to Booda Sunday Adeyemo Foundation for its unprecedented gesture of giving free JAMB forms to a whopping 300 students of which 15 of our students are beneficiaries.
“The gesture is commendable. But for such many of those students would have missed the opportunity of seeking admission to higher institutions this year. We really appreciate the foundation and its chairman Hon Sunday Adeyemo on behalf of our students.
“His vision aligns with that of our school in promoting the acquisition of higher education by the young ones. We pray his goals in life will be realized. He will forever be relevant. Extending such benefits to such number of students is writing a history that can’t be erased because those students especially those who are able to make it to the university will ever remember his gesture. It is heartening because he is not holding any political office. Thank you sir. More power to your elbow. We are grateful. We are grateful. If those 15 students gain admission they can change the world, for the better. You are amazing.”
ogbomosoinsightonline.com reports the foundation rolled out 1500 application forms of which the 300 that scaled its qualifying test were selected as beneficiaries of its free JAMB form’ initiative following which it floats a free JAMB class for the successful students at Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ahoyaya.
LAMHS formerly Akata Community High School is located at Sunsun area in Ogbomoso South local government.
Founded in 1980 it was renamed in 2001 by the administration of late Governor Lam Adesina in honour of former Senator Christopher Laogun Adeoye, a prominent medical doctor, politician and author.

However, the School management can reciprocate the kind features of the BSA by making sure that the candidates work very hard and secure admission into higher institutions of their choices. That is when the money spent on procuring the forms will not be a waste.
