50 candidates to benefit Femi Onireti’s powered OPEC free JAMB initiative

The annual Free JAMB Initiative, a collaborative effort between Femi Onireti and Ogbomoso Progressive Elite Club (OPEC), is set to unravel for the year 202

The process will begin Thursday, January 25 with a qualifying examination for prospective candidates in five centres across Ogbomoso zone

 

The centres in Ogbomoso metropolis are Anglican Grammar School and Baptist Secondary Grammar School Ahoyaya

 

Other centres are Baptist Secondary Grammar School Ajaawa, Ikoyi Grammar school,  Ikoyi and Iresaadu High school Iresaadu.

 

This is according to a release signed the coordinators of the qualifying exam who  included Comrade ‘Dokun Alamu, Comrade (Prince) Adedoyin Tojuade and Mr Origade Adegbite

Each of the over eighty public secondary schools in Ogbomoso zone is expected to send two good students hoping to write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation  Examination (UTME) otherwise known as Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examination (JAMB

Speaking on this Comrade Adedoyin told ogbomosoinsightonline.com that the committee resorted to conduct of qualifing exam this year because of their previous experienc

 

According to him, “last year many of the beneficiaries did not perform well and so we felt those that would benefit the gesture this year should be screened in order to ensure only good students are picke

 

“We want results, the beneficiaries should be the ones who will perform well and proceed to higher institutions
