OYHA Speaker Ogundoyin laments insecurity menace in Ibarapa as stakeholders meet

Insecurity has remained an unending menace in Ibarapa zone of Oyo state which has been causing concerns for residents.

After the security meeting in Eruwa

This menace particularly more pronounced in Eruwa has provoked stakeholders to hold a security meeting attended by among others traditional rulers, heads of security agents, youth nad community leaders, student leaders and the management of the Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.

Giving insight into the meeting via his X app formerly Twitter Wednesday, Ogundoyin informed a stakeholders’ meeting was held to appraise the situation and come up with possible solutions the outcome of which however he did not reveal.

Under his X handle Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, he had written Wednesday: “The security of lives and properties in any community is not to be taken for granted. It requires collective and continuous attention.

 

“The security situation in Eruwa in Ibarapa East Local Government in the last few months calls for concern.

“We had a stakeholders’ meeting in Eruwa with the Heads of security agents, traditional rulers, Eruwa Council of Elders, the Chairman Ibarapa East Local Government, Management of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytecnic, Students representatives and Executive of Eruwa Youth Movement.

“Since security matters are not to be made public, the stakeholders have mapped out strategies to address the situation and have set some machineries in motion. We are convinced that our plans will yield the desired positive results.

 

“May God protect us from criminally minded elements in our midst.”
