Senator Ayo Adeseun has expressed confidence that the Ogbomoso-Oyo section of the Ibadan-Ilorin new highway, which has dragged for 22 years, will be completed by the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

This is as he assured the 132kv substation in Temidire/Ajeja Ogbomoso which also started about 18 years ago would be completed.

Senator Adeseun who represented Oyo Central senatorial district between 2011 and 2015 saying Tinubu is a man of vision, when he hosted friends and political associates and followers to Ileya festival at his Onipaanu expansive residence Thursday, affirmed the president is committed to changing the narrative in Nigeria.

“President Tinubu is our man, Ogbomoso and Nigeria as a whole will benefit from his government.

“He is a winner and he will leave imperishable legacies. I am sure more than ever that both the Ogbomoso-Oyo expressway and the 132kv power sub-station will be completed. I have no doubt.”

Adeseun who enjoys close relationship with President Tinubu cited the appointment of an Ogbomoso person as Presidential Special Adviser on Revenue (Mr. Zaccheus Adelabu Adedeji) to back up his claim.

The former chairman of appropriation committee in the House of Representatives when he represented Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa federal constituency speaking on what Tinubu said about Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola in 2015, recalled the president agreed with the postulation of the late former premier of Western region on political alignment with the north.

“Asiwaju told me in 2015 that the late Baba Akintola emphasized only when Nigeria’s southwest and northwest align politically will there be stability in Nigeria.

“He noted Nigeria would toe that path and it worked as it brought in former President Buhari and now Asiwaju. Tinubu knew he would be president, he had the vision from a long time. We should support him.

“He is committed to rebirthing Nigeria and make it a prosperous country.”
