I’m like lion and tiger combined rearing to devour criminals – Egbetokun, new IGP, takes over Wednesday

The newly appointed Acting Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has declared his intention to wage war against criminals and other “internal enemies” of Nigeria.
Egbetokun whose appointment was announced Monday made this declaration Tuesday after being decorated with his new rank.
Speaking with newsmen after the event he said since he was announced as Acting IGP he had variously felt like both a tiger and a lion rearing to crack down and tear apart criminals and internal enemies of Nigeria.
“I have just been decorated and I’m looking forward to taking over tomorrow morning by 11am.
“Right now, I feel like a tiger ready to chase away criminals from the country and at other times I feel like a lion ready to devour all the internal enemies of Nigeria.”
