New Year: Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre boss congratulates Nigerians, stresses regular medical checkup

The Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre, Ogbomoso Prince Victor Oyetayo Olawuyi, has congratulated Nigerians for the grace to see another year.

Prince Olawuyi stated this in his goodwill message at the end-of-the-year party of the medical centre held recently at their head office, beside Alapo Evergreen Hotel, Starlight, Ogbomoso.

He observed Nigerians went through a lot of difficult times in 2022 “accompanied by many disastrous deaths,” noting therefore that seeing a new year “is a grace and we should not hold back from thanking God. Many died but we are alive.”

The medical practitioner however urged Nigerians to take their health with seriousness in 2023 affirming that good health is sine qua non to long life and wealth.
The Medical Laboratory Science graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, therefore stressed that going for regular medical check up is a way of prolonging life and keeping sudden death at bay.
He stated, “Nigerians should take their health as priority, it is very important. It helps to live a long life.
“Therefore people should endeavour to engage in regular medical checkup. This is a way of preventing sudden death in the society.”
Identifying other causes of sudden death as terrorist attacks, suicide, natural disaster among others, he emphasized anyone who jettisons engaging in regular checkup is on the edge of either of the above causes of sudden death he mentioned.

He also stressed the need for adequate counseling for intending couples, saying “this will save a lot of future troubles.”

Meanwhile, he used the occasion to apprise the public of the services rendered by Genesis Medical Diagnostics Centre disclosing, “This is an indigenous diagnostic centre that has various sophisticated equipment which can diagnose different kinds of ailments without having to step out of Ogbomoso town.”

He added “those medical tests you are asked to go and conduct in Ilorin, Ibadan, Lagos and other places can be done at our centre here in Ogbomoso, at your doorstep, in good time and at a competitive cost.”

Also speaking, Director of the diagnostic centre, Mrs. Esther Olawuyi, expressed gratitude to their partners for their support, loyalty and for believing in them.

While wishing them and their clients “a fruitful year 2023,” she assured the centre would keep on upping it’s all services and manage patients and clients with greater dedication.
