Ijeru Baptist Church appreciates pastor, Rev’d Ilufoye, see photos

Ijeru Baptist Church, Ogbomoso, recently held appreciation service for its under-shepherd, Rev’d. & Mrs. Olusanjo Aanuoluwapo Ilufoye, in recognition of his ministerial work in the church.
Rev’d. Ilufoye has been serving in Ijeru Baptist Church for more than a decade; he first served as Minister-in-Charge of Missions and Prayer Ministries from 2011 to 2015 before turning full time pastor, following the exit of Rev’d Dr. Ayo Obiremi in 2015.

The appreciation service featured song ministrations, sermon delivery, Bible reading, gifts for the pastor among others.

Revd. Dr. Sola Lawal, in his exhortation, remarked that leadership in the church of God is the same, noting that all churches have their own problems, a claim he backed with Numbers 20: 1-13.

Rev’d. Lawal, Minister-in-Charge of Oore-Ofe Baptist Church, Ogbomoso, thus charged all religious leaders to respect God’s people in the discharge of their duties as religious leaders.




“Watch your response to the needs of the people” he added, urging religious leaders to report issues to the Lord as the needs of people could sometimes be really great.
He also admonished church members to support their pastors and make the church easier to lead.

The Onpetu of Ijeru Kingdom, Oba Sunday Oladapo Oyediran Lagbami Osekun III, speaking at the event urged members to be good to their pastor.

Oba Oyediran also appreciated members for their patience in respect of the renovation of the church auditorium.
Representatives of the Maigida Charity Foundation were also present; they assured work is being done on the revenue generation for the completion of the church auditorium renovation.
The celebrants appreciated everyone present as well as church members whom they commended for being good to the family.
