Super 4 League: NALCOMA lauds Bayelsa gov

Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association, NALCOMA, has heaped praises on Bayelsa state governor, Senator Duoye Diri for his support for the recently concluded Super 4 Tournament held in Yenagoa, capital of Bayelsa state.

In a statement by the secretary of the Nigerian League association, Kunle Oyeleye, it’s noted that Senator Diri with the support of his cabinet capably sponsored the Super 4 League, won by Bendel Insurance.

“I want to specially appreciate the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Duoye Diri and his entire cabinet for their painstaking effort at sponsoring and ensuring hitch-free hosting of the Super 4 League, which is the most important league in Nigeria, the Nigeria National League (NNL).”
Describing Diri as “Games Master General,” Oyeleye remarks he showed “great strength in the development of football in Nigeria with his deeds and actions.”

He adds, “Your effort is highly commendable, Senator Diri. The open cheque you gave the NNL shall never be taken for granted. We shall rather commit it to the development of champions across Nigeria.
“On behalf of NALCOMA, ably led by Mr. Chidi Okonkwo, I congratulate the Nigerian National League leadership for the innovation and commitment to this year Super 4 Tournament, which is the basis for the success recorded. We say the 46 registered clubs are all champions.”

ogbomosoinsightonline.com recalls that Insurance of Benin defeated Bayelsa United, El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Doma FC of Yobe in the Super 4.
Each club came first in their respective groups, and will complete next season in the Premier League.
