Kudos to FG on approval of passport office in Ogbomoso
I want to commend the federal government for deeming it fit to open a passport office in Ogbomoso. It is indeed laudable.
Ogbomoso, the land of valiant, has witnessed tremendous progress in recent times emanating from her share of federal projects which it’s being endowed with. The approval of a passport office in the city no doubt will bring certain benefits. The first is the employment opportunities that will open to residents and non-residents that will contribute to improved economy of the city. Also, the proximity of a passport office will make it possible for Ogbomoso residents and those nearby willing to travel out have easier access to collection of travelling documents. Rather than travelling to places like Ibadan, Ilorin, Osogbo or Lagos, with attendant risks and waste of energy and resources, our people can now make the transaction at their doorsteps.
We thus need to appreciate the federal government for the gesture just as l say a big thank you to Ogbomoso’s illustrious sons and daughters that facilated the project. God bless.
