Another accident claims life on Ogbomoso-Oyo road

An accident on the ever busy Ogbomoso-Oyo road Tuesday morning claimed the life of the driver of a commercial bus painted in Oyo state colour – white.
According to an eyewitness, the accident occured on the completed section of the new highway at about 8:30.
“Because the contractor was putting asphalt on the right lane going to Oyo from Ogbomoso, all the vehicles, both oncoming and ongoing, took the other lane,” the eyewitness told ogbomosoinsightonline.com.
“A vehicle trying to overtake the bus smashed into the driver’s side to avoid an oncoming vehicle. The driver died instantly after sustaining injuries in the head. His head was indeed soaked in blood. Other occupants sustained varying degrees of injuries.”
Meanwhile as at the time of filing this report the identity of the late driver could not be ascertained.
Recall that an accident on the same road claimed the lives of a couple on Friday.
