Onireti expresses shock over death of Osupa PDP chairman
Hon. Olufemi Onireti has described the death of the Osupa Ward Chairman, Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. Iyanda Olatunde popularly called Bulky as shocking.
According to him, “When I received a distress call yesterday’s morning that Hon. Iyanda Olatunde (Bulky) was not feeling well and had been admitted to one hospital at Aguodo area, I personally drove down to the hospital.
“Seeing his critical condition, I quickly made an arrangement with the LAUTECH Teaching Hospital to provide us their ambulance so as to transfer him to their hospital and this they obliged.
“After spending about 8 hours in the hospital and it was becoming glaring that his health condition could not be managed well at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, they referred him to Bowen University Teaching Hospital, BUTH, Ogbomoso, yesterday’s night with the hope that I would wake up to hear his voice again but unfortunately it was his death news that woke me up.”
Onireti described the deceased as a gentleman and a grassroots politician who would be missed by the party.
“Hon. Iyanda Olatunde is a perfect gentleman and a grassroots politician. If the number of people that stood with him yesterday could save his life I believe he would still be alive. He is loved but God loves him more.
“I pray that his soul rest in peace and God grant his family the fortitude to bear this great lost. I also extend my condolences to the PDP family and our leaders in the state , local and ward levels.”
