BSA Foundation puts smiles on faces of over 3000 residents in Ogbomoso

A non-governmental organization, Booda Sunday Adeyemo (BSA) Foundation has distributed food packages to over 3, 000 residents of Ogbomoso in Oyo state, eliciting smiles and acclamations among the beneficiaries.

Each of the packages distributed consisted of beans, cookies, garri, spaghetti among others.
The programme held at the playground of Baptist Secondary Grammar School, Ahoyaya, Ogbomoso and had in attendance several Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwarts, spiritual fathers and councilors from across Ogbomoso zone, was meant to alleviate the plight of Nigerians struggling to sustain livelihoods due to the harsh economic reality in the country.

Tagged “BSA Operation Feed The Needy,” the beneficiaries included widows, orphans, the aged and the poorest of the poor households in the society.
Founder and president of BSA, Hon. Sunday Jeremiah Adeyemo, noted that humanity should be the first priority of all political office holders particularly at a trying time like this in which the county is faced with myriad of problems and economic challenges.
He said it is part of the reason why his foundation deemed it fit to distribute the food items after engaging in several humanitarian services in the past, promising to continue in the direction.
The political office hopeful added that the foundation is committed to charitable services disclosing part of its efforts is to provide assistance in form of staple foods to the needy especially those affected by the recent pandemic.
The Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Chief Segun Ebenezer Ogunwuyi, represented at the event by the former caretaker chairman, Ogbomoso South West LCDA, Hon. Amusan Damilare, donated a sum of N200, 000 (two hundred thousand naira) to assist “BSA Operation Feed the Needy,” while commending the initiative.
Ogbomosoinsightonline.com recalls that BSA recently commissioned a renovated borehole to meet basic water needs of the populace at Orita-Ajaawa, Ogbomoso.
Among those present at the event were PDP chairman, Ogbomoso South local government, Apostle Moses Olamoyegun; PDP women leader; Reverend Dr M.O Oludare of Idioro Baptist Church, Ogbomoso; and a youth leader, Reverend Peter Olaleye.
