Femi Onireti has felicitated Christians on the occasion of the 2020 Christmas celebrations, wishing them peace, health, happiness and prosperity.
This is just as he congratulates the Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde as he turns 53 years old today.
“As today marks the 2020 Christmas celebration, I greet our Christian brothers and sisters and all Nigerians in general. I wish them peace, health, happiness and prosperity.
“I rejoice with them and pray the season will bring immense joy,” Onireti notes in his Christmas greeting and message.
The US-based entrepreneur urges Christians to imbibe the spirit of Christmas and allow the salvation and redemption power in the birth of Jesus Christ to transform their lives.
He also enjoins them to be happy and merry and throw off the yoke of afflictions he says are whittling down life in the country, praying for fresh and bright years ahead.
“In this season of love we should reflect the ideals of Jesus Christ. His birth means salvation and redemption that is capable of transforming our lives.
“Though Nigeria is beset by several challenges; yokes of afflictions that whittle life down but we must not allow this to weigh us down. We should rather hope in God and be merry for calmness of heart. A fresh and bright New Year is what I wish for us.”
He also charges Christians to pray for Nigeria “for the omnipotent to look down on us with mercy.”
Congratulating Engr. Makinde on his 53rd birthday, Onireti said the governor is a privileged man to be sharing birthday with the saviour of the world.
He notes that it is no wonder the governor is an imitation of the love of Jesus Christ and radiating many ideals found in the saviour of the world, praying for long life, sound health and prosperity for popularly called “GSM.”
“As our governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde marks his 53rd birthday today, December 25, I congratulate him and wish him many more years ahead in peace, good health and prosperity all round.
“Our governor is very privileged, celebrating his birthday on the day Christians all over the world commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ is auspicious. It is no wonder the governor is an embodiment of love, kindness and humility.”
The House of Representatives’ hopeful now wishes the governor more success as he administers the state.
