The Soun of Ogbomosoland Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III JP CON CFR is bereaved. He lost one of his sons, Prince Olumide Oyewumi.
He died yesterday, Sunday, November 29, after a brief illness.
Until his death, Olumide worked at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.
He was in his 40s and was the first son of Soun’s youngest wife, Olori Laronke.
The deceased, a pastor of The Redeemed Christian Church, was said to be very close to the monarch.
Those close to the palace described him as an easy going person who would hurt a fly.
He will be buried today.
