The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North federal constituency, Lanre Sarumi, has advocated more inclusion of young Nigerians in governance and better representation noting this will trigger youth-centric laws and policies.
Sarumi, a software technology consultant, made this observation Tuesday in Ibadan at a function, stressing the model would help to develop the nation.
According to a press release signed by Sikirulah Ibikunle for Skido 2023 Media Team Sarumi stated he was sure of victory in the coming polls emphasizing youths are ready than before to take on the older generation.

The youth-focused politician affirmed that the coming general election gives Nigerian youths the opportunity to choose right.
“I am of the opinion that Nigerian youths deserve better. We need good representation at places that matter, where decisions are being made. This is one of the reasons I want to represent Ibadan North federal constituency”, he said.
The aspiring lawmaker pledged to bring home jobs, investments and empowerment programmes that will put Ibadan North on the global news and map, through his connections.
He further submitted, “Youths are ready to take on the mantle of leadership. I implore youths not to make themselves available for the political class to use them in fomenting trouble during elections”.
Unveiling his plans, Sarumi, fondly called ‘Skido,’ stated, “I want to leverage on my vast knowledge to better my community”.
Residents in his constituency have continued to hail his contributions and show of love for his people.
“Sarumi’s intervention in the education sector was timely in the last quarter,” some residents of Mokola in Ibadan said.
Basirat Akinpelu revealed she also benefited from his distribution of Jamb and WAEC forms last year.
