Amb. (Dr.) Olatunde Okelana JP, DFAIJP, has been admitted as Doctoral Fellow of the African Institute for Justices of the Peace (AIJP).

The investiture came up Saturday (September 21) at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, along with that of others.

According to the AIJP, the award is “in recognition of his distinguished service and commitment to advancing Justice and Peace in Africa.”

With the conferment he is “authorized to use DFAIJP after his name,” while his membership number is given as “DFL/AIJP/B – 004.”

As a retired military officer with an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Sir Okelana demonstrated bravery, strategic acumen, and uncompromising commitment to national security. His meritorious service has been recognized through various honors and accolades.

Beyond his military accomplishments, Sir Okelana has distinguished himself as a traditional Chief (Balogun of Orile-Igbon), and Knight of St. Bernard Commandery No 35, Chicago IL, USA. These esteemed titles underscore his leadership prowess, cultural significance, and international recognition.
