LG election: Onireti gifts buses to PDP candidates in Ogbomoso (PHOTOS)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbomoso federal constituency has received a boost ahead the April 27 local government election in Oyo state as Hon Olufemi Onireti donated one bus each to the chairmanship candidates of the three local governments constituting the constituency.
The presentation ceremony held Wednesday at the Ogbomoso residence of the Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state, Chief Segun Ogunwuyi, had the three chairmanship candidates of Oriire, Ogbomoso North and Ogbomoso South local governments, Hon Olateju Michael Alabi, Hon George Ogunlade and Hon Oyeniyi Timothy respectively in attendance.

Presenting the buses on behalf of Hon Onireti who was the House of Representatives’ candidate of the party for the constituency in the last general election, Hon Rotimi Oladipupo, said the buses would aid the campaign activities of the party in the forthcoming local government election.
Hon Oladipupo who is Director General of PDP campaign committee for the constituency commended Onireti for the gesture stressing the buses would boost their campaign efforts.

Hon Ogunlade speaking on behalf of the three candidates also thanked their benefactor and prayed for his success in politics.
Onireti in a telephone interview with ogbomosoinsightonline.com submitted he was committed to the success of the party in the forthcoming election saying ‘the party supported me in the 2023 general elections and so the gesture is a token of my appreciation.”
