Latest news on Ayede Poly: JAMB approves admission list, gets more courses

The Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Ogbomoso, Oyo state, is on the verge of admitting the second set of students in its history as it will soon unveil the list of successful students for the 2023/2024 academic session following approval by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
This is as it is revealed that the National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) is set to approve more academic programmes for the fledgling institution.
The announcement made by the admission office is contained on the Facebook page of the institution.
It is stated, “Federal Polytechnic Ayede is set to make academic waves as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has given its stamp of approval on the 1st batch merit admission list for the 2023/2024 academic session.”
It informs the list will be unveiled via its portal, www.federalpolyayede.edu.ng, asserting it is “a process that marks a significant modernisation of the admissions system. The decision to streamline and digitise the admissions process reflects the institution’s commitment to efficiency and transparency, offering students a seamless pathway to their educational aspirations.”

It further notes the “proactive approach,” has generated much enthusiasm and accolades among prospective students and education stakeholders.

The institution also discloses it would soon get approval for more academic programmes following the successful resource verification exercise by the NBTE.
The exercise it stresses covers nine new programmes aside the existing four.
The new National Diploma programmes envisaged are Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Accountancy, Business Administration and Management, Public Administration and Office Technology Management.
Others include Urban and Regional Planning, Estate Management and Valuation, Agricultural Technology and Tourism Management Technology.
These will be exciting additions to the existing programmes i.e. Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Science Laboratory Technology as well as Statistics.
Informing the pioneer students are currently on Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), it states the verification exercise was a continuation of the last resource inspection leading to the admission of the first set of students.
