Soun in a statement he personally signed, said the project is inspiring and a testament of what man can accomplish if he has the will.

He noted for the former Minister of Youths and Sports Development to establish a radio station at this time indicates his desire to contribute to the development of his state by making the sector more liberal and providing employment opportunities for the people.

“For the ex-minister to conceive such project at this time is commendable. He has not only made the information sector more liberal but has also created employment opportunities for some people which will certainly contribute to economic development of the state.”

The monarch meanwhile expressed his desire for Sunday Dare who is Agbaakin of Ogbomoso to replicate developmental projects in his hometown as well stressing Ogbomoso is thirsty of significant development which he noted can only be stimulated by her people.

“But as much as l commend my Agbaakin for this milestone his gesture has aroused in me a bit of jealousy. Because more than our great capital city, Ibadan, Ogbomoso city needs development, it has a significant catch up to make in terms of development and this can only be driven more by her people both at home and in the diaspora.

“What he did aligns with my dream of growth and development and l charge him to also think of Ogbomoso in this direction. I call on my people generally to be partners in our quest to change the narrative of our land. Nobody will do it for us but ourselves. Let us get our names in the history books of our great city.”

.

In the meantime Oba Olaoye expressed confidence the ruling party chieftain will hearken to the clarion call of making significant impact in the advancement of Ogbomoso to add to his past interventions such as facilitating an 80-bed hospital when he was minister, facilitating the use of a site for the temporary use of the Federal Polytechnic Ayede and donating a bus to the institution, his efforts in the activation of the 132kv power station at Ajeja/Temidire among others, adding,”Together, we can make the change we desire.”

Also, Oba Olaoye congratulated the Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, for the development saying “It is because his administration is providing an enabling environment that the state continues to witness growth and development.”
