Tumultuous crowd welcomes Soun to Iresaadu townhall meeting despite initial intrigues – See royal fathers who came

Despite initial narrative that the Iresaadu community is vehemently opposed to the townhall meeting scheduled by the Soun of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III at Iresaadu headquarters of Surulere local government the public engagement has finally taken off. The meeting started at about 12:50pm.
The Chief Imam of Iresaadu Sheikh Adepoju, a representative of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Oba Isegun of Iresaadu said the opening prayer.

Top rated traditional rulers in Surulere local government area including Alapa of Okin-Apa, Onijabata of Jabata, Oloko of Oko, Iba Iyaoje, Balogun Olugbon, Olodanbon of Odanbon, Oluwofin of Iwofin among others.
Also Iresaadu’s High Chiefs including Balogun, Ikolaba, Bara and Areago, Otun Aresa and other important dignitaries were in attendance.
Recall news media were awash in Wednesday that the people of Iresaadu community had rejected the townhall meeting and reportedly warned Oba Ghandi not to venture to the town. However it was later understood that it was the handiwork of some opponents of Soun who are not even residents of the town.

However, the meeting has begun in earnest and Kabiyesi is about to address the audience. Prior the commencement the Soun and the traditional rulers held a meeting which press men were barred from attending.
Soun was accompanied to the meeting by his cabinet chiefs and Ogbomoso traditional rulers including Aare Alaasa as well as Onisapa of Isapa.
