BOOM: Adedapo Aderemi launches Creative Rant, unveils mentorship program for young talents

A young Nigerian creator, Richard Adedapo Aderemi, and who is founder of Drem Studio, has taken a bold step towards empowering the youths with the launch of Creative Rant in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
The initiative will centre on the development and identification of raw potentials and aid children imagine and pursue their futures.
The initiative it’s disclosed would provide opportunities for young creative minds to share their challenges, journeys, and growth without the pressure of perfection.
This is as he unveiled a grassroots mentorship program aimed at supporting children in slums and underserved communities. He revealed ten people would be supported and trained under the grassroots mentorship initiative which will commence soon.
During the launch Thursday at Ambassador Hotel, Yoaco area, Ogbomoso, Aderemi emphasized that Creative Rant is about authenticity, honesty, and community, rather than polished appearances.
He stressed that hunting for the creative-minded individuals had started, which according to him, will cut across all five local government areas in Ogbomoso zone.
Writers, cinematographers, musicians, storytellers, photographers, business management experts etc attended the launch.
The keynote speakers – Timothy Adeolu, Seyi Ajamu, Pamilerin Emmanuel dwelled on how the spirit of creativity can be grown, packaged and developed.

Timothy Adeolu submitted there were some challenges attached to creativities which must be conquered to achieve goals and attain success.
He said, “There are some battles one has to deal with. Life is evolving. You need to face the challenges and find a way to balance it to achieve your aim.”
Encouraging the youth, he said, “sometimes one person’s persistence open new doors for everyone.”
Also, Hon. Seyi Ajamu, a visual storyteller, speaking on the theme, “Myth of Midnight Success,” harped, “It is normal to rant, if you don’t, you will just die in silence. Success as a journey has shortcomings; no one succeeds overnight.”
Re-affirming the reason for the launch Aderemi, in an interview reiterated, “It is about creative journey. There are some untold stories about the so-called successful people. Revelation of how they failed, the story of what they passed through and the story of how they strove to navigate the world to encourage young creatives.

“I’ve met gifted young minds in forgotten corners, and this initiative is about reaching them early and giving them the tools to grow and dream.”
