Today, Sunday August 18, Alhaji Ramon Akanni Oladoye clocks 56 years old. If you call him Raymon King or Mr. Lecturer or RK1, you’re referring to the same man. The latest news in the Nigerian entertainment industry is that, millions of music lovers don’t want to miss Alhaji Ramon Akanni’s music shows. However, without mincing words in the league of Fuji musicians, Raymon King is in the category of Akande Abass Obesere, Saheed Osupa, Alabi Pasuma, Taye Currency, Rasheedi Ayinde, Sule Alao Malaika and Shefiu Alao. In a nutshell, when analyzing the profile chart of the Fuji musicians, Raymon King can raise up his head and be counted. There is no doubt, Ramon Akanni is indeed Nigeria’s pride. The young Ramon Akanni started his career in music in 1978 at the age of 10. He began with Ajiwere. With the passage of time in 1982 at the age of 14, he formed his music band, named, Sunday Akanni And His Fuji Rainbow. Thereafter, the band’s name was changed to Raymon King Dynamic Fuji. In actual fact, Alhaji Ramon Akanni exhibited certain attributes early in life and these helped to shape his career to the inroad to stardom.
