BREAKING: Oyo SUBEB opens job portal for recruitment of teachers, gives time portal will close

The chairman of the Oyo state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Dr. Nureni Adeniran has announced the official opening of a job portal for the recruitment of 7000 primary school teachers into the state service.

Dr Adeniran disclosed the portal would become active by 6pm today, June 25th 2024 while emphasizing that the authentic portal created in collaboration with the state office of ICT and e-governance is : http://subeb.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng.

 

He consequently advised applicants to be wary of illegal portals and scammers.

 

The recruitment aims to fill vacancies in public primary schools across the state.

The application portal will begin accepting applications at 6:00 p.m. today, June 25, 2024, and will remain open for three weeks, closing on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.

 

After the portal closes, applicants will be shortlisted for a computer-based test, followed by an oral interview for those who pass the test.

 

Dr. Adeniran urged the public to cooperate with the Oyo state government and the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) and advised applicants to provide all required information, as failure to do so may disqualify them from taking the computer-based test.

He emphasized that the application is free, and applicants should not pay anyone to apply or to get shortlisted. Any issues or complaints should be directed to the board via the phone numbers and email addresses listed on the job portal.

 

Recall recruitment of teachers and guards into secondary schools across the state is also in the pipeline. However, the portal for this is yet to be opened.
