60th birthday: Balogun Olugbon launches NGO today

Sir Chief Olatunde Okelana JP who clocked 60 years last Wednesday is commemorating the milestone with launching of a non-governmental organization (NGO) whose aim is to render humanitarian services.

Named Sir Olatunde Okelana Foundation, it will be officially launched today, Tuesday, at The Great Hall, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, starting 10am.

According to information made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com, the non -profit organization will focus on the vulnerable including widows, orphans and students.

It will also center its concern on provision of mentorship programme for the youth and scholarship for indigent students.
The foundation launching, the culmination of events marking the 60th birthday celebration of Sir Okelana and Knight of St. Bernard Commandery No 35, Chicago IL, USA is expected to be attended by important dignitaries including top traditional rulers.
