Twindad Orphanage Home CEO, friend, donate N1m to support Chef Tope Maggie

The Chief Executive Officer of Twindad Orphanage Home, Hamama area, Ogbomoso, Oyo state, Dr Adekunle Adegbite Samson and his friend Mr. Yinka Rymths, both US based, have donated a sum of N1m to support the cooking marathon of Tope Adebayo, who is attempting to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) in the category.

Tope Adebayo popularly known as Chef Tope Maggie began his quest Thursday at 6:31 pm at the Ogbomoso Recreation Club and as at the time of filing this report has cooked for a duration of 144 hours, well past the new record set few weeks ago by an Irish chef, Alan Fisher, in Japan, who cooked for 119 hours 57 minutes.

Many Nigerians have hailed Maggie’s attempt and are egging him on to get himself in the Guinness World Record Books while some have supported him with material and financial donations.

Making the donation on behalf of Twindad CEO and Yinka Rymths, Oluwaseun Temitayo Olalere applauded the efforts of Chef Tope describing it as heroic.

He also appreciated the Chef Tope team, from the coordinator, Mr. Niyi Olaleye; general manager, Mr. Alabi Tunji Michael; Seun Ogunbiyi to the others.

He said it was the donors’ contribution towards the success of the event. “I have made this donation on behalf of Dr Kunle Adegbite, CEO of Twindad Orphanage Home (lives in California, USA) and his friend, Yinka Rythms, who lives in Dallas, USA, to facilitate the success of Chef Tope’s Guinness World Record cook-a-thon attempt.”

The chef has set a 200 hour mark for himself which is now within his reach, .
