NUT holds award ceremony for eminent personalities Thursday

The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Ogbomoso North local government branch will today Thursday confer merit awards on some eminent personalities in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
Some of those to be conferred with awards are Alaaje of Aaje Oba Reuben Adesina Amao (dss rtd), Dr Fatai Buhari, representing Oyo North senatorial district, former NUT state chairman Prince Tojuade Adedoyin, Hon Olawumi Oladeji, an ex-lawmaker among others.
The programme slated to be held at Soun Stadium Ogbomoso, which is already underway is expected to be attended by teachers, parents and students and other dignitaries.
Comrade Tunde Oladapo, chairman of the branch in a telephone call told ogbomosoinsightonline.com that the award ceremony is to recognize achievers in the society “in order to encourage others.”
