NCWS congratulates new Aseyin, charges him on development
The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS), Oyo state chapter, has congratulated the newly installed Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III.
In a statement, made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com signed by its president Mrs. Kikelomo Olufunmilayo Oyelade (a former chairperson Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, Oyo state), and secretary, Chief Mrs. Isinmiola Yemisi Olowoyo, the group notes the emergence of Oba Oyebola, signifies good omen for Iseyinland and the whole of Oyo state in general, asserting the monarch’s background stands him in good stead to bring this to pass.
“The selection and installation of His Royal Majesty Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III as Aseyin of Iseyinland conveys good omen not only for Iseyinland but the whole of Oyo state.
“The new Oba is well educated, well travelled and urban in disposition. With him on the throne of Iseyin, a major town in Oyo state, network of development will expand which will rub well on other parts of Oke-Ogun and Oyo state in general.”
NCWS, the first women society and umbrella body for all women societies in Nigeria says Iseyin like other towns is in dire need of progress and development expressing confidence the new Aseyin will in no time kickstart this.
It urges him to be fired by thirst for development and initiating positive changes in his kingdom remarking he would long be remembered and loved by the legacies he is able to bequeathe.
“Iseyin like several other communities will do with more developments. And we have faith in the Oba that his reign will spark this.
“We want His Majesty to be fired by hunger for progress and development. He should be a harbinger of positive energy and change for it’s by the differences he is able to make that contribute to moving his kingdom forward that he will be loved and remembered.”
The association also charges Iseyin people to cooperate with the new Oba so that he “can make significant successes.”
In similar vein the group wishes the monarch a long and peaceful reign.
Also, the society pledges the support of women in the state submitting, “As women we pledge our support, loyalty and allegiance.”
It adds, “We also rejoice with the new Olori, Her Majesty is another loving mother whom we are sure will embrace us with open arms.
“We will support both Kabiyesi and the Queen with prayers and we pray Iseyin, Oyo state and Nigeria will have a glorious dawn.”
Recall the new Aseyin Oba Oyebola Adeyeri III last week completed the seven-day seclusion rites, which confirms his status as the Aseyin of Iseyinland.
