My bosom friend, Dr. Francis Olalude, I extend my warmest greetings to you on your glorious retirement from the services of Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, Oyo state.

An illustrious son of Ogbomoso, he was Chief Librarian until his retirement. Dr Olalude is an erudite scholar par excellent. Before his sojourn at the former Emmanuel Alayande College of Education he taught for many years at Molete Secondary School, Ogbomoso.

He is PhD holder in Library studies. He is a man of many parts, an academia and a man of God. This I got to know from my intimacy with him as his bosom friend. We grew together as childhood friends and classmates during our undergraduate studies at the University of Ilorin. He deserves to be honoured and praised at his retirement today (September 19) for his service to humanity and God, being also a deacon. I wish him happy retirement and prosperous life ahead.
