Ghandi is divine arrangement for Ogbomoso – Baptist Conference

The selection and approval of Prince Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye as Soun-designate has been described as an arrangement by God designed to take Ogbomoso to a new level.
Recall Prince Ghandi Olaoye selected by the kingmakers out of 25 candidates in March 2022 got official approval of Oyo state government on Saturday, September 2, 2023.

The development has opened a new vista in the ancient community with many people hailing the decision of the government.
In a press release by the Ogbomoso Baptist Conference signed by its president, Rev. Thomas NIYI-OJO, PhD, and made available to ogbomosoinsightonline.com, titled, “The beginning of anew dawn,” it is noted the decision to appoint Ghandi exemplifies God’s manner of doing things for His glory, submitting the development has ignited joy among the Baptists in the city.
The conference asserts the support of Baptist members who are predominant in Ogbomoso for the incoming king as it rejoices with the people of the city in general.

It expresses hope and confidence Prince Ghandi, a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, will make valuable contributions to the progress of the community.
“Our God has again done what He used to do. He has by divine arrangement given us our King in Ogbomoso, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye, the Orumogege 3.
“The entire members of OGBOMOSO BAPTIST CONFERENCE home and diaspora are rejoicing with our new monarch designate – Prince Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye – for his emergence and subsequent approval by the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Oluseyi Makinde.
“We equally rejoice with the Soun-in-Council; the Body of Christ in Ogbomoso; the Muslim Faithfuls in Ogbomoso; the Traditionalist; Sons and Daughters of Ogbomoso home and abroad; we rejoice with the Soun Royal dynasty; male and female; young and old for the new king.
