2024 LG poll: APC picks date for primary election

The All Progressives Party (APC) has scheduled August 28 for its primary election towards the 2024 local government election in Oyo state.
This was the outcome of a stakeholders’ meeting held Friday at the state’s party office, Oke – Ado, Ibadan.

ogbomosoinsightonline.com learnt that the meeting set other machineries in motion for the successful conduct of the primaries.
Among others members are directed to embark on revalidation of their membership card to have eligibility to contest the primaries.
“All the committee unanimously agreed on direct primary. That is, all card carrying members who have their names on the revalidated register have constitutional right to vote at their various ward venues,” it was stated.
Sales of expression of interest form is to commence soon, it was further disclosed.
