The association’s global public relations officer, Dr Obasanjo Babalola, noted that the global association’s leadership, beginning from Chief Jide Bewaji to Hon. Solomon Onilede up to Engr. Olalekan Badmus has been highly impactful.

In a statement, Dr Babalola commended Engr. Badmus for the gesture, which, according to him, is a way of leading the association by example.

Dr Babalola urged other well meaning alumni to contribute meaningfully to the progress of LAUTECH Alumni Association in terms of projects, welfare and succour to members and students of the institution.

The statement read in part, “I am glad to say that Engr. Badmus has redeemed his pledge towards the association’s capital projects. As pledged at the last global assembly held in Warri, Delta State, Engr. Badmus has redeemed it.

“I, therefore, want to, on behalf of our global association, commend our president’s gesture and pray that Almighty God continues to be his sources.”

While charging other distinguished stakeholders and members to seek the progress of the association, Babalola said, “Now, I want to thank all stakeholders and members of our dearly beloved association.
