Alaaje of Aaje Ologo, Ogbomoso North, installs traditional chiefs, imam

Alaaje of Aaje Ologo in Ogbomoso North local government, Oba Reuben Adesina Amao Osunbiyi 1 fsi, JP, DSS Dir (rtd), has installed chiefs to assist him oversee the traditional affairs of the community.
The new chiefs installed are Chief Moses Oladapo Babatunde (Jagun), Chief Rafiu Alao Balogun (Balogun) and Chief Samuel Ayoola Olaniran (Aremole). This is as Alfa Tajudeen Sadiq Alarape was installed as Imam of Aaje.
The ceremony came up on May 19 at the palace of Aaje amid fanfare.
Speaking at the event Oba Amao charged the new chiefs to see their installation as an opportunity to serve their community.
“I want to congratulate the new chiefs on their appointment. You have been created chiefs as a result of your past contributions to Aaje town and due to your experience.
“You should therefore see your new positions as a call to duty to further serve Aaje and her people. It is not to make you superior or oppress or boast but to make you more diligent in serving Aaje.”
Oba Amao, a retired State Director of Department of State Services (DSS) assumed the stool as first Alaaje on August 14, 2020, after spearheading the battle for the creation of Aaje chiefdom.
ogbomosoinsightonline.com reports one of his cousins, his former alter ego, Ademola Ogummola, meanwhile is also laying claim to the stool.
