BREAKING: Rep candidate, Onireti to rehabilitate road in Adiatu area, Ogbomoso

Succour has come the way of residents of Adiatu area of Ogbomoso as a philanthropist and humanitarian, Hon. Olufemi Oladokun Onireti, has concluded plans to rehabilitate the road, which has become deplorable.
Onireti, who is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, and Oriire federal constituency while disclosing his intention during a visit to the road said “It has become very important for me to single-handedly finance the rehabilitation of this road. It may interest you to know that this road links a major road and most time due to the bad portions the road is riddled with, traffic snarls always arise to the discomfiture of road users.
“I am confident that after the rehabilitation traffic snarl will be a thing of the past on the link road.”
Onireti assured the rehabilitation would start on Monday, December 12, 2023.
Recall that Onireti has consistently contributed immensely to the development of Ogbomosoland within the shortest period he ventured into the political space of the community, most especially in the three local governments of Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire.
Onireti has sunk six motorized boreholes across the three local government areas and has also provided solar street lights, reconstructed damaged culverts, resuscitated and renovated faulty boreholes and empowered artisans.
In addition, Onireti gave out cash grants to widows and the less-privileged generally, paid WAEC, NECO and JAMB fees for indigent students, gave lifetime scholarship awards to others, paid medical bills and has been involved in other numerous gestures of kindness.
“That is a great move on his part,” a resident of the area, who however pleaded anonymity enthused, adding, “He has proved again why he is the leading candidate. He is getting my vote surely.”
