Alaaje of Aaje a.k.a. Ologo,Ogbomoso North local government, High Chief Reuben Adesina Amao Osunbiyi l, has been conferred with the award of Justice of the Peace (JP) by the Oyo state government.
This is just as he bagged the Meritorious Service Award of the Ogbomoso Valiant Club (OVC).
The two honours are in recognition of his past achievements as an individual and as monarch.
The OVC encompasses Ogbomoso sons and daughters in the Nigerian Armed Forces and other paramilitary forces both serving and retired.

The bestowal of the award by OVC on Saturday marked the eighth anniversary of the prestigious association.
The award of “JP” is reserved for men of unassailable integrity and who have made significant contributions to their society. The conferment ceremony which came up last week in Ibadan had other eminent personalities across the state bagging the award.
Meanwhile, High Chief Amao retired from the State Security Service (SSS) as a State Director.
While in service he recorded many meritorious services such as handling the security of then President of United States, Barack Obama, during a visit to Nigeria in the 2000s.

Amao was invited to perform similar role in Ghana when Obama similarly visited the West African country.
He was installed as first ever Baale of Aaje in August 2020 after, according to him, he secured the approval of Oba Oladunni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III, the late Soun of Ogbomosoland in 2015, at a time he was still in service. That status made him defer his installation ceremony.

His assumption of the Aaje Chieftaincy has elicited progress and development in the community.
He has created a distinct identity for Aaje, which he gave the sobriquet,”Ologo.”
He said his mission is to bring out the glory of Aaje.

The security expert has assisted a lot of orphans, widows and less-privileged generally in the community through his foundation – Abigail Ebun Asakun Amao Widowhood Foundation. The tenth anniversary of the NGO is slated for December 26, 2022, which will feature among others distribution of gift items to the less-privileged, fundraising for completion of a public secondary school and conferment of humanitarian service awards on deserving individuals.
