How can l, a Yoruba Oba, support another Fulani to rule another 8yrs – Olugbon fumes

The Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Olusola Alao, fumed when asked the candidate he would support in the 2023 presidential election.
ogbomosoinsightonline.com had inquired, “Kabiyesi, what do you have to say about the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria?”
And swiftly he fired, “It is southern presidency. I stand solidly by southern presidency.”
Olugbon, a vice president of Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, further asserted, partly in Yoruba, “Oba Yoruba ni mi (I am a Yoruba king), do you tell me that emi Oba Yoruba ki n so pe eyan mi ko ma se ni (should l say as a Yoruba monarch someone from my region should not vie)?”
Continuing, he said, “We have Tinubu there, we have Peter Obi, if you ask me whom do l choose, l will pick Tinubu. Yes, Oba Yoruba ni mi. I will not do otherwise.”
He now waxed philosophical, averring matter-of-fact, “Then, again, what will l tell my unborn generation that at a certain period, a Hausa-Fulani man ruled us for eight years and another Hausa-Fulani man takes it for another eight years, that is 16 years.”
ogbomosoinsightonline.com notes that Nigeria holds another presidential election next February with three major presidential candidates – Bola Tinubu on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Peter Obi running on the ticket of Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar, the flagbearer of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The presidential election is scheduled to hold on February 25 along with the National Assembly election.
