Professor Olajire Abass of the Chemistry Department Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, who slumped yesterday at a Jumat service has been buried.
He was committed to mother earth in his hometown Ibadan this morning, according to Islamic rites.
His final resting place is UNIFEMGA Burial Ground Ile Igbon, along Olodo -Iyana Offa Road.
Many sympathizers attended the occasion.
His sudden death generated national shock owing to his immense contributions to scholarly activities in his area of specialization which is Industrial/Environmental Chemistry.
He was rated number 3 on the list of the ten top world class scientists in Nigeria.
