Thus, school uniforms were earlier distributed to indigent secondary school students of Aaje origin on Friday, May 14 (his birthday), under the aegis of his non-governmental organization, Abigail Ebun Asake Amao Widowhood Foundation, to contribute to their educational advancement.
Speaking at the thanksgiving service Alaaje said he had many reasons to give thanks to God, “I have had many tribulations which God made me overcome. Also, the glory of Aaje has begun to shine and God has assured me that the community will witness progress and development.”

The retired State Director of the State Security Service, SSS (Department of State Service, DSS) also urged the young ones to face their studies bemoaning that he was tired of hearing that youth in the community are celebrating ‘freedom’ instead of graduation from higher institutions.
“As a child raised by a widow, I faced a lot of difficulties mostly financially but because I struggled to be educated I rose to become state director in the SSS and I headed many states and formations in the service.
“So, I want to charge our children to be dedicated to their educational pursuit. In fact, I am tired of hearing that our youth are celebrating ‘freedom’ ceremony as a result of learning a trade, what I like to be hearing is that they are celebrating graduation ceremony from institutions of higher learning. That will offer them greater opportunities than learning a trade.
“Now, I want to be hearing you completing your education as doctors, lawyers, accountants and such things. And in five years time, I want to see Aaje Ologo emerge in accordance with its name – Aaje Ologo – boasting of industries, successful indigenes and so on.”
He expressed appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state for his support and developmental strides in the state stressing, “I like to describe Aaje Ologo as ‘Makinde Model Town,’ because the governor is committed to development.”
High Chief Amao similarly thanked Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Oladunni Oywumi Ajagungbade III, disclosing that the paramount ruler “accorded recognition to the Alaaje stool. He supported the creation of Aaje chiefdom. We will forever be grateful to him.”
This is just as he expressed gratitude to his subjects saying their backing is what has been sustaining him.
Clergies at the event, Prophet Isaac Oni of the Christ Power Evangelical Ministry, Rev’d John Taiwo Fadeyi and Prophet John Iyanda all prophesied that Aaje Ologo will become a great community charging its people to remain steadfast in the lord.
